California-headquartered premium plant-based meat brand, Abbot’s Butcher has reportedly announced commencing the national distribution at Target with 1,215 stores of the retailer earmarked to offer Abbot’s Butcher’s delicious ‘Chorizo’.

Beyond this, Abbot’s Butcher is also aiming to expand distribution – of protein-rich plant-based meat products portfolio comprising of Chorizo, Chopped Chick’n, and Ground Beef – at 159 of The Fresh Market Stores in addition to 73 Fresh Thyme outlets.

Kerry Song, Founder and CEO of Abbot’s Butcher emphasized on how the latest partnership with Target, Fresh Thyme, and The Fresh Market will enhance access for a broader community to the brand’s delicious plant-based meats.

Promoting the brand’s meatless meats, Song mentioned that the products – crafted with unique ingredients without any trace of additives, soy, natural flavors, or canola – fit perfectly into daily routines as everyday essentials, enabling consumers to make their favorite plant-based recipes.

Song also added that the team at Abbot’s Butcher – via its successful growth trajectory showcasing double-digit spike over the last year at Whole Foods Market– has demonstrated that the consumer demand for clean, simple, and wholesome plant-based meats is enormous today.

Thanks to the latest move, Abbot’s Butcher will be able to unlock growth exceeding its historic levels.
